Just nailed 3 days out of 15 days of lab which my lab group managed to get down to 14 days (Friday off, yay) because we were so quick in the radioactive lab. I’m glowing with joy. Literally.

Today did not go so smoothly as it could have been because we missed out a step to dry a pre-soaked filter which would take 2 hours. Sounded like bad news, but since we put the filter in the oven to dry later in the day than we were supposed to, we were able to prepare and cover some of the parts of the lab investigation that were penned in for the next couple of days. Staying 2 hours later today and staying an extra couple of hours or so tomorrow means that our group gets Friday off! “Fan-bloody-tastic!” as the enthused British would say, is how I felt upon hearing this. In life, things may go wrong, but it all turns out fine in the end. They just don’t always happen the way we expect them to, people.
